1. Introduction

Welcome to Skratch.one. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or engaging with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at: hello@skratch.one

2. Our Services

Skratch offers the following services to independent consultants and small businesses:
  • Custom website design and development
  • Website maintenance and technical support
  • Basic search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Branding and digital consultation
Each project’s specific scope is outlined in your proposal or written agreement.

3. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required before the start of any project.
  • The remaining 50% is due upon final delivery.
  • Monthly maintenance plans are billed on a recurring basis.
  • Payments are accepted via bank transfer, Stripe, or other methods agreed in writing.
Late payments may incur a 5% fee for every 14 days overdue.

4. Revisions & Approvals

  • Most projects include up to two (2) rounds of revisions per design/development phase.
  • Additional changes beyond the agreed scope may require extra fees.
  • Once approved and delivered, the final product is considered complete.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:
  • Provide necessary content, brand materials, and access promptly
  • Give timely feedback and approvals to avoid delays
  • Confirm that all submitted materials are owned or properly licensed

6. Intellectual Property

  • Final ownership of the live website (including code and design) transfers to the client upon full payment.
  • Skratch retains the right to showcase the project in its portfolio unless otherwise requested.
  • Any third-party assets (fonts, images, plugins) remain under their respective licenses.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

  • The initial deposit is non-refundable once work begins.
  • If a project is canceled midway, the client will be billed for completed work to date.
  • Skratch reserves the right to cancel a project if the client becomes unresponsive or fails to meet agreed obligations.

8. Ongoing Support

  • Support after launch is available only via an active maintenance plan.
  • Maintenance may include plugin updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and basic edits.
  • Emergency or out-of-scope work may be billed hourly.

9. Third-Party Services

Skratch may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, scheduling, or payments. We are not liable for disruptions or issues caused by these platforms.

10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of business, or legal issues related to content provided by the client. Total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Your Country or “United Kingdom” / “European Union”]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms
